Why should dumbbells instead of machines? There are many reasons and I'll explain them here.

Dumbbells require not only that you lift the weight over the entire range of motion, but also train each muscle separately. Training with dumbbells will give you a real strength to win, that will be useful in real life. If you go about your daily life, you get everything from a hand more often than with two. We collect the things with one hand in the shop as aLiter of milk or at home. Free weights makes you stronger and better able these daily tasks.

You also need to use many smaller stabilizing muscles, though with free weights to machines as applied to the train. A car has the weight of some sliding system for a certain length of the arm or the height of the people. If you are shorter or taller than average, you will find that some machines can be very uncomfortable and optimize your muscles to build them instead.

I would recommend usingHandlebars more than one bar in each movement. Most people like to use to press the bar to the elevators, such as bench presses, curls or shoulder. I would like to use the weights with each of these movements, so that does not help the stronger party, the weaker side. This will force your body to gain power in a uniform way instead of a party still dominated. And 'even better for the joints when the muscles weights that can move like they want to use.
